You can hardly call an Avatar smut and as for the dirty joke, your wrong, it was a joke about someone with Epilepsy. It's not the sort of thing I'd indulge in, but hey, it's a free country and a tolerant one hopefully. Have to agree with Ents about some of your comments. People in glass houses and all that. I was generalising rather than being specific Dave Smile

Ultimately the collection of forums belong to Martin and he decides the policy for them under which you agree to follow by being a site user. We all have a choice and some make theirs by going elsewhere ...but the reality is that forum rules generally apply wherever you go. With a site of this size then there has to be an appreciation that what is acceptable to one user may not be to another and we have to find the balance between it all.

As with any other site users posts, if people feel that anything I say is offensive then by all means press the red triangle give your reasons and I will leave it to my fellow mods and admin to chastise me as they see fit. Obviously if we get lots of reports about the use of certain words or their context then we will review their use for the greater good and balance of the site Thumbs Up

Guys, I think some of you are getting a little too wound up over this Confused

I removed it as I felt it was inappropriate for a site that has a broadly "family" ethos - I'm not happy with such images being used as avatars visible across the site, especially when I'm sat with my 2 year old on my knee.

As for the long signatures I didn't say it had to be removed Confused I actually asked that the massive list be reformatted to bring the screen space used down a bit Shocked
