Cant imagine they are that different to the D3 which all plug in at the nearsde rear corner. Just follow the cables. Wouldnt of thought it would bother the car either

If you remove the rear near side unit then diisconnect the wiring and see if it causes an error (dont think it will) but if it does just reconnect.

You can down load the fitting instructions from the Land rover site. Removal is just a reversal of the fitting. However, some fitters do actually remove the rear bumper, if they have fitted it that way then removal is a bit harder as the wires are routed and attached to the inside of the rear bumper.
This is done so as to stop wear from those big heavy weight things at the back.
However, all the ones I have seen are just threaded thru to avoid the weights and held with cable ties. Hope your lucky. However, after alll your work the wiring loom aint worth much second hand and you can get them off Ebay new for about £70 to £80. You'll get about £30 for the loom. Sometimes its not worth the effort. Your call. Bow down

Atlantic British Land Rover parts has a few videos, including this one on how to install the towing electrics. Think it should be quite helpful in removing them as well. They didn't remove the rear bumper for the install.

When I fitted the electrics to the RRS I had to replace a section of the RRS loom that had the reversing sensors on it, if the Disco one is the same you will need to put that part of the loom on when you remove the tow electrics?

Fingers crossed they are different and don't follow this design if you don't have the original rear loom.

New electrics genuine boxed on E bay £69.99. So used you should get £35 ish.
The electrics are very easy to remove as long as they are not clipped into rear of steel bumper. They are not linked to parking sensors. Just multi plugs which you access through the left rear light which you must remove. Thumbs Up
