I'm looking to install the twin iPad 2 rear screens with wireless hard drive RSE a la discotres.
Trouble is the sound. My kids don't particularly like wearing headphones and I don't like them being cut off from the outside world as far as conversation/pointing things out etc so our last RSE set up had rf output and we had the sound for the films through the car radio.
How can I achieve this without the twin iPad setup?
Thanks in advance

Yes griffin itrip sounds a good idea BUT, if you are using two iPads and the wireless hard drive remember that each iPad will have to select a film for it to be played on that particular iPad, I guess 1 x iPad would have the itrip attached BUT unless you start the film exactly the same time on each iPad you will have problems matching voice and mouth if you know what I mean. We use the Bose Quiet comfort 15 headphones, they have inbuilt phone call acceptance capability and microphone, so you could always telephone the kids and talk to them while they have the headsets on

Yeah i'd thought that. Same with putting the sound through the AUX jack......
Hmmm if we do go down the headphones route, anyone any experience of wireless/bluetooth headphones with the ipad?
Cheers

Just be aware that with iPads and iPhones using wifi AND bluetooth at the same time can cause connection problems, I do have wireless bluetooth headphones but have not used them whilst using the Goflex.
Lidl have some Bluetooth headphones on offer at the moment I think, handy to have a few pairs lying about
