Bonnet Catch Sensors
Evening all,
Would someone be able to tell me where the bonnet catch sensors / switches are? Went playing on Salisbury Saturday, car in a proper minting state, went a bit mad with the jet washer under the bonnet and now the car is insistent that the bonnet is open when it isn't.
Looked through the workshop manual and can't see anything related.
Cheers
Steve

if it wont cure after a clean ...remove the connector and join with a paper clip or bit of wireG4 Gone ...but not forgotten

Its on the left hand side catch as you look at the vehicle from the front.
I pulled the connector off and stuck a fork-legged crimp in it to make it think the bonnet switch had been operated when I used to leave my bonnet slightly open at night for my optimate charger

The bonnet ajar switch is attached to the bottom of the right hand latch. The switch consists of a microswitch operated by a leaf spring which bears on the latch cam. When the latch opens, the latch cam presses on the leaf spring, which closes the microswitch to connect a ground to the central junction box.
