Mine dont work. just got the car and before starting to meddle wonder if anyone else has had this issue? they work on manual (thank god in these conditions) but dont in auto, when in auto they just turn off??

Hi Michael !
Could it be that You live in a Country where Dipped Beams is not mandatory during Daylght Hours.
And if so, ! Do they lit themselves during Dark hours ?? ( When in Auto )
Mine always come on, since here it is mandatory to have them on whilst driving..
I could be out on a limb here , but i think i'm right !! ??? Jan R.

The dashboard lights have different fuses for auto and manual 'on' settings, could the other lights have that too?
If this is a load of c**p, pls ignore.

I notice that you have a base D3 - auto lights were not a standard fitment on this model. Have you got front foglights - if so I wonder if the previous owner has fitted them and changed the light switch so that they can control the fog lights - if this is the case the auto part of the switch might not be wired up.

Yes I do have a base 3 model with front fogs, I wasn't aware that a base model didn't have them but if this add on is the case it may explain why??? Brrr bloody help&
Erm what would I need to add to make the system work then?
Has anyone else added much to a base spec 7 seater tdv6

Not 100% sure but have the same issue. Think the windscreen sensor is all that is required.
Hopefully someone who knows will chime in
