New malfunction: Temerature display incorrect
Today I drove across France, in the Rhine valley.
It was very hot but very nuce outside. At 11 am we had outside approx. 30..32°C.
I was not very amused to see on the temperature display ony 3°C including the asterisc for frost warning.
A bit later the temperature changed to 17° then only 1° but, the most time of the day I didnt get the right temperature.
By the way, I checked if the right temperature is displayed after a "restart" of the system. So I swiched off the car and after a minute I started teh enginge again. But nothing changed.

Talking about being chilled, Slimer, Martin and I were walking back to the cars and we saw in Russian on the side of a Defender Rodney and Derek, how chilled is that?
Pretty much any angle's normal for a Defender, think we saw most angles today too The End

Notice that on the way home this afternoon in the hot sun, my reading said it was only 67F.
Maybe this is the reason I can't get the car to heat up, even with both sides turned up to 26 on their dials. Coffeecup

Hope you had a good journey home. It is possible the thermostat is defective and not allowing the engine to warm up etc.

One thing to remember about US, French, is that we do have a spinal reflex which pushes us to say NO to whatever question is aksed...
You just need to remember that when asking a question...
And beware ! French are reading ! They even try to pretend that they understand english nowadays !
Anyway, for Loki, I fear that it is "back to the dealer time" right now... I know that in the 806, Espace and Picasso that I used to drive the outside temperature sensor was in the external rearview mirror... Does anyone know whether or not it is the same in the Disco 3 ?
