Just returned from a two week driving holiday in D3 to Bratislava, in Slovakia, and back, via Chamonix, Lucerne, Salzburg and Innsbruck. 3,400 miles altogether, and faultless performance. Really excellent for such a trip, very comfortable, and quite an experience. Awful weather included thunderstorms and flash floods, which made it all the more fun! What's the longest round-trip anyone has done in their D3?

Been to Italy and back about couple of months back, about 3000 miles I think in the end. All good roads until we reached the location where I took it onto some mountain land we own over there near Colliberardi.

Did 3000 mile round trip to Spain in May/June, fully laden cruising between
90-100mph @ 23.5mpg.
All passengers comfortable and aircon did the job in 36c heat.
Fantastic car - the other 4x4 manufacturers have alot of catching up to do!!

Awesome! I need to get to Slovakia one day, half of me is "from there"
My wife and I are taking 2 trips in the next month, totalling about 4000 miles or so... I am quite keen to see how much I like the LR3 by the end (I promise not to let the fact the in-laws are riding along taint my thoughts! ) '05 LR3 HSE
Departed: '62 Series IIA, '02 Freelander, '03 Disco
