I seriously doubt LR would have been able to fund these new models without fords backing ?
The whole 4x4 industry needs to get it's act together with all this greenpi$$ that's about, to raise vehicle taxes. A concerted effort is needed to brief the public on real emissions stats ect & lobby policy makers.
I have had 3 LR's now , they have all had minor warranty repairs, including my current D3 that has a steering vibration issue. QC seems to still be an issue. Unsolicited feedback I get is the freelander is a dog & the D3 is OK. 2007 TDV6 HSE 'Silver Lady'. With 'free' privacy glass LOL.
Taking the greenpi$$ is: Green taxing your citizens more & using some of the money to buy nukes.
