Is it 15k or 16k for D4 service interval ? |
|
After booking my D4 in for it's 15k service my dealer told me it was every 16k [or annually].
I didn't believe them so checked my "service portfolio" booklet [page 10] and it too states 15k
Raised this with the dealer and he came back saying No, it is most definately 16k.
What is the correct interval? I was a normal heterosexual chap, but in these new woke awakenings I now identify as a Wardrobe.

When I collected mine I was told 12 months or 16k which ever came first, mine will 12 months as I've not quite done 2k and I took delivery 6 1/2 months ago - didn't help being in hospital on and off for 2 months!

Just had the schedule through from my dealer and yes it appears to be 16k.
But why do LR provide a Service Portfolio that states 15k?
Surely if someone were buying a used D4 and saw servicing every 16k when the book states 15k, they would think they were having his plonker pulled I was a normal heterosexual chap, but in these new woke awakenings I now identify as a Wardrobe.

25,000 kilometres according to my dealer, or every 12 months. Good dealers will however only replace what is essential if vehicle has not done a huge mileage since the last service! 8) 2016 Discovery 4 Commercial

Some D4s came with 2.7TDV6 which were stil 15K.
But the D4s with 3.0TDV6 are 16K.

I called LR customer care this morning.
They too said it was 15k, but when I explained the contradictions I was experiencing they came back and said oops yes it is 16k.
