I used the metal hook from a plastic coat hanger if you dont have a wire one to hand. Just snapped the metal out of the plastic and then bent the end over in a vice

It dosent come off there ... You have to remove the 2 clips on the underside of the airbag it's self
 G4 Gone ...but not forgotten

Long nose pliers ... Although you can grab the clips by hand .

Squeeze the outer edges inwards

Just squeeze the sides of the 2 airbag connectors and they pull out easily.
