Suspension fault C1A20
Wifey tells me that when driving this afternoon got a suspension fault and message 'normal height only available' (or something like that). She switched the car off and back on again and it didn't come back.
Plugged in the Faultcode reader and got: C1A20, 'pressure increases too slow when filling resevoir - algorithm based failure: signal plausibility failure - intermittent'.
So does anyone know what the problem is? definately to replace the compressor? if the TB is correct by stating that the compressor exhaust valve is sticking, does this really require a compressor replacement or can it be overhauled and repaired?
I thought it was only a matter of time before the words suspension, failure and compressor would be used in the same sentance!

You can try carrying out the compressor overhaul, but 9 times out of 10 this doesn't work.
New compressor and relay required plus flashing the ECU to the latest software level.

Thanks. Where's the relay located?
If I'm going to do this myself, does it matter if the ECU isn't upgraded to the latest software? here in Guernsey there doesnt seem to be anyone aprt from the dealer that could be able to do that.
