What do they reckon caused it to go the first time? I've heard of a number that have gone once, but never twice until now. If the replacement wasn't fitted carefully or some dirt got introduced into the oil at some point then that could cause it to go again.
Do you let it idle for a minute or so after a long hot run, particularly at motorway speeds? You should never just park up and switch it off as then the hot oil becomes burnt inside the turbo and over time that can knacker the seals in the turbo, to say nothing of prematurely degrading the oil. It should be left to cool down slightly by circulating the oil.

IT RUNS 24/7 so is always warm so to speak.
On certain jobs the run stop is activated which lets you remove keys and leave engine running. Will konk out if pedals or handbreak pressed.
It gets quite some hammer by 5 people who all have different driving styles.
The symptoms always start with gradual losses of power then bang
It crept back to the dealers at 20mph.
I must say though they give us fantastic service at Guy Salmon Leeds. Can well reccomend to all.

Dicky is right about the turbo \ oil issue ......although it affects diesels less because of the lower exhaust gas temperatures running through the turbo unit. The D3 manual does state that the engine must be brought to idle for at least 10 seconds before switch off after high running speeds. 21 year LR veteran > D2 GS 2003 > D3 S 2006 > D3 HSE 2009 > D4 HSE 2013 > D4 HSE 2015 > D5 HSE 2018 > DS HSE R-Dynamic P300e 2021
