| Alternators / Interchangeable between models? |

Hi Tech Guru's,
With the somewhat questionable service life of the 2.7TDV6 D3 alternator I wish to raise the question the option of fitting latter model alternators.
The D3 alternator part # LR008861
The 2.7 TDV6 D4 part # LR013843
The 3.0 SDV6 D4 part # LR013847
My questions are:
1 - What is the Amp output of the 3 versions?
2 - If the 3.0 SDV6 has a greater output can it be retro fitted to the earlier models but including the 2.7TDV6 D4?
3 -I see the mounting bracket is different between the D3 & D4 would this too need to be changed?
