On the way home on a journey today noticed a grinding when braking, on arriving home the offside rear disc is heavily scored, even though a few mil left on the pads!!
Anybody had this? Can someone recommend me somewhere to take my Disco3 in Herts. *now enjoying* D5 Namib Orange HSE 68

Don't have the time or the will to start taking this car apart!
Just need it sorting. Any suggestion of independents would be good.
But yes I suspect something has jammed in the pad and basically knackered my disc. *now enjoying* D5 Namib Orange HSE 68

Fixed by an independent called Aylmer - they seemed nice and competent!
Pad had actually worn slightly unevenly and was down to the metal one side with a couple of mil left on the other. New discs, new pads, brake shoes on one side and a sensor and £400 later all fixed! *now enjoying* D5 Namib Orange HSE 68
