Don't bother - spoke to him last week about it. Still doesn't do belts. My indy want under £600 for the whole thing.

good b& b down the road where I go and if yer stay a sensible distance (ie not 100's of miles away), you'll get a pegueot 308 foc or yer could go shopping in salisbury or down the road to bournemouth (only 50 mins away the beach) or as I do, sit at the dealers, butty wagon comes around at 11.00, (very nice pasties)

I like this thread. With all the scaremongering, there will soon be a market full of cheap Disco 3's, with around 100k miles all going cheap Laughing Whistle

For me unfortunately that's not really an option, not to replace with another D3 anyway, as money's quite tight.

Price at my indie (Famous Four, Louth) has gone up recently but at £416 (inc) for the belts on their own or £624 when including the service its pretty reasonable.

For the prices charged elsewhere you could book yourself into the nearby Kenwick Park lodge for a 7 day holiday, pay for the 105k service and still have some beer tokens left!

Moving 'up north' has saved me a few pennies.

I won't be able to do anything until next year if at all as I am one of the 'unfortunate fifty' who might be for the chop. If it all works out I will change next year, if not I will dust off the pushbike! Confused

Thanks NickJ. However, all is not lost as the 'powers that be' are being fair and there are plans afoot for redeployment where possible. I will just have to sit tight for the time being. There are people in far worse situations in the present climate so time will tell. Thumbs Up
