D4 Question

Have had a 3 D4 test drives today.

On 2 of the vechicles when pressing down acclerator at lower speeds nothing seemed to happen for a couple of seconds.
When approaching a roundabout slowing down and then trying to pull away at seemed to be the main problem.

The salesperson seemed to think this was normal Question Whistle

He also said a problem also on D3 and admit did have similar problem for with my RRS, but that was fixed and even when at its worst was not as bad as I have experienced today.

Also suggested it may seem worse to me as have been driving a merc for past couple of months.

Might of been more inclined to beleive him but third vechicle didn't have this problem

I presume you're taking about an auto?
My D4 doesn't do it... but it used too, a bit!

The auto gear box seems to be somewhat adaptive. When I first took delivery it felt like it was often in the wrong gear if accelerating after slowing. It took a little while to choose the correct gear and got a little bogged down which felt like a lack of power? Thing is, after a day or two of enthusiastic driving it got noticeably better and much sharper on rolling pull-off's. After a few weeks it doesn't do it at all. Next time you're out testing see if it happens when shifting in 'sport' mode?

Just a thought?
