I have just become the owner of 06 Discovery 3 HSE and would like to find a good independent Land Rover garage in the Edinburgh area. A recommendation would be much appreciated.

Whites auto services, 2 Washington Lane, Dalry. 0131 337 9955. I have not used them myself but they get a good name.

 ....thats the guy I use Andy White.....did a top job with replacing my front diff....also replaced my arb bushes all round....Ex Pentland LR I believe and knows his stuff.....no flannel, just good advice,costs and service "Better to remain silent and be thought a fool,than to speak out and remove all doubt" ?.....what rubbish...

Another for Whites. I've used them a couple of times recently and have been impressed with the service.
There's also Keith Elgin Motor Engineers in Canaan Lane. I've used them in the past and again have always been happy with them.

For those that know Edinburgh White's Auto Services is hidden away in Washington Lane which is off Dalry Road, just past Maplin on the right if coming from Haymarket. I passed within 50 yards on the way to and from work for years without realising that they were there.
Had front discs and pads replaced by them in May and would go back to them again.
