...or was it trim level dependant/option ?...just had a"discussion" with a friend "Better to remain silent and be thought a fool,than to speak out and remove all doubt" ?.....what rubbish...

All the diesel D3s and 4s I've ever seen at work have had a FBH (apart from an odd spec D3 that came in the other day).

Petrol models didn't have them, and neither do some markets like USA as I remember! 2014 D4 XS
