sidesteps
Hello guys,
Ive lost the metal strip that goes around my passenger side sidestep (2nd time this has happened)
anyway i was really lucky that the last time as a very kind member of this board happened to have a spare one and he kindly shipped it to me
Anyway i dont think i could be that lucky again so my question is does anyone know what the quality of the ones on ebay are like, they are still quite dear at £215 but a hell of a lot cheaper than the ones from landrover. Any feedback on these would be greatly appreciated.
Maybe i should organise a riot outside a landrover dealers and do a bit of looting myself

Hi, I'm just looking into having these things fabricated, rekon I'll be a millionaire with em, but don't know how long were looking at yet! I've got both missing now!
Can't help with the eBay ones I'm afraid, although I have looked at them before

I bought those ones ....they tell you to ring and then take another tenner off.....not sure how impressed E-bay would be if they found out......however....they fit well and the guy assured me they are OEM but without the LR logo....they get heavy use getting the kids in and out and loading the roof rack...no issues so far after 8 months of abuse...."Better to remain silent and be thought a fool,than to speak out and remove all doubt" ?.....what rubbish...

I have a 2007 disco that was fitted with landrover steps when 6 month old, after just over 3 year one of the trims fell off. I looked at the steps and they are crap (about as rusty as a 1980 series III) I bought some replacements from a seller on this site and they are identical, ( I have greased them up, so hopefully they will last a bit longer )2007 HSE Stornoway with Alpacca

I called them about the roof bars and was told that I could get them for £120 + p&P instead of £ 140 + p&p so would imagine that they would knock more than £10 off the steps

got a non LR set on mine and no probs with bits falling off,
after a years use front endges of the outer ally trim have pitted and marked quite a bit were it tapers bask to behind front wheel arch but generally happy not sure the make as were fitted as part of the purchase with local indy
