Experience is a difficult teacher, because she gives the test first and then the lesson afterwards!!!!

terrain driver

When using the snow setting you may find turning off DSC helps with traction.
I always turn it off when selecting terrain programs

landrover manual quote..

"In some driving conditions it may prove helpful to deactivate Stability Controlto (DSC) improve traction, e.g. rocking the vehicle out of a hollow or when the wheels have sunk into the surface, pulling away in deep snow or a loose surface, driving along deep ruts, driving through deep mud. Deactivating DSC has no effect on the traction contol. In the majority of driving conditions, and particullarly on-road, it is recommended that you do not turn DSC off."

I don't agree with the video as it shows braking into a corner. For safety always brake well before you have to and then drive around the corner. And with junctions slow right down before the junction then drive up to them.
It is better to have and not need it then need and not have it.
