Sport mode works around this quite well.

It's the press, pull out, realise it's slow, press more, hold tight as volume increases Shocked and get off gas....

England 2006 Discovery 3 TDV6 SE Auto Zermatt SilverDiscovery 3

Sport mode makes no difference to the delay on my D3.

Dealer is contacting LR Tech Rep to arrange a meeting and has confirmed that the hardware bits have been checked and are okay.
