Squeaky Seats driving me nuts

Some time back I had both my seat-bases replaced under warranty because they suffered the usual D3 trait of moving and creaking. I was a happy-chappy.

However, in the past few months, both seats have started squeaking, especially on corners. The worst offender is the passenger seat but both seats make a similar noise. Its different to the seat-base noise that I had before and is more of a "students-bed-spring" kind of noise that suggest some lube is required (no pun intended).

So, how would one lubricate the seats ? Is that possible or is it more likely that the seat bases are just knackered again ?

oh - and before you ask, I have actually lost weight in the past year so I dont think it's my lardy-a$$.

I had this problem recently ...previously had the seat rock issue sorted but then I had a major annoying squeak when braking or accelerating....... turned out to be the compressed seat foam rubbing against the pan on the seat frame .

now you come to mention it, the engineer did attribute some of the previous noise to this previously, something about the plastic trim rubbing.

The noise is more like a rusty spring but I could also believe that it could be foam rubbing. What's the remedy ? Lubrication ? A good hard shove ?

The car was just serviced - by my independent - and the noise was the same before/after. I suppose they tightened the bolts. I'll ask them.
