ECU Remap - Advice needed please
I am sure this has already been done to death, but I am new to the D3 world so wanted some help info from all you guys with experience.
I have been doing some digging and there seems to be a lot of companies offering remaps....
One for performance
One Middle of the road
One for MPG
Etc etc.
Some say you need a rolling road and do it to the vehicle.
Some say they have the ultimate out of the box solution.
All seem to be between £180 to £300.
I would like a quicker pick up....shes a bit sluggish.....(compared to the RS6) but having done a lot on fuel in the RS I am also looking for a few more MPG.
Can a man that visits your home really provide a good service or do you need to take the vehicle in somewhere
Thoughts on all the above please....

So I guess its a trip to Yorkshire.....or do they send a not so strange man round your house?
Are there any downsides to getting a Remap?

I have all my cars done by the same guy, who comes to my house.
PM if you want dets as he's not a sponsor on here so dont want to offend anyone
Never had any issues....he's fully insured and has reflashed my D3 for free 3 times now after the dealers reset the ecu.

I had a bell autos remap and fuel consumption difference is there but negligable. It certanly has more power, and had heaps of pulling power for towing.
Once I get my VVT issues sorted, ill probably see if I can get the tune to make even more power. Ill most likely order the EGR blanking plates, and upgraded intercooler pipe also as they will ensure my engine is running as good as it can
