AFAIK is abbreviation for As Far As I Know, and TLO refers to our sponsor The Large One who is parts manager at Yeovil Land Rover, and will supply what you need at a very good price.

There are other companies who will supply - Eurocarparts.com for instance (circa £200+vat for belts tensioners idler pulleys etc) but you may feel more comfortable going for LR genuine parts although they are probably manufactured by the same as those supplied by others but without the LR logo on them.
Why not take the oportunity to change the water pump at the same time. Its only an extra 3 bolts and is a five minute job when everything else is off at the same time.

Pretty much
Just check, double check, and check again, just incase one of the pulleys have turned. And always turn the engine over at least twice by hand, to ensure the cam timing is correct, and that no valve-piston contact occurs
As for water pump, I would actually like to know just how common failure is of these. Have never personally seen it myself, and only ever heard of 1 failure on here... My D3 Build Thread

Yes, katielel. The number is 01935 426600 and ask for Nick Lee. Ask for the Disco3 website discount price. I will be onto him as well first thing Monday morning for a propshaft!
