Hello all,
There seems to be a lot of AF registered D4's available from the dealer network at the moment. Lots of silver but also some other colours as well. Are these likely to be ex Landrover fleet cars? Could they be ex Landrover Experience vehicles and if so, what is the general concensus on purchasing one? They seem to be all around the 22K mile mark so I thought that is a bit high for ex LRE cars (I thought they like to change them nearer 7-9K miles?) Are there likely to be more problems associated with them or are they more likely to be tried and tested and well maintained? The one's I've been looking at are mainly XS and HSE.
I know that used D4's are not in plentiful supply at the moment so choice is not really huge. Maybe I'd be better off waiting for a few months for more choice and therefore either a softer starting price or more room for manouver?
I appreciate your thoughts!

Winter coming and more choice do not go hand in hand when it comes to D3's or D4's. If it is another bad winter both will be in short supply and the prices will also rise. MY17 D5 1st Edition Namib Orange
MY15 D4 HSE Kaikoura Stone
MY12 D4 HSE Nara Bronze Sold and gone
MY11 D4 HSE Stornaway Grey Sold and gone
D3 S spec Silver Sold and gone
Tow bar, full length roof bars, side steps, tow bar storage unit, surround camers.

To be honest I would be looking around seriously now. Agree with Russell that as we get closer towards winter supply will be even shorter.
Look on the Land Rover used car section, also Sytner Land Rover look to have quite a few nice looking vehicles on their books, low mileage as well.

Land Rover management cars always used to be on Birmingham plates then they used an agency who where over in Cambrige so they went to A reg and now their all Oxford reg so OE OV etc. Anything registered as a staff or a demo, fleet, press car would be on these reg no's

Thanks for the info guys and sorry for the delay in responding
Has anyone any experience in running an ex Landrover Management car or more interestingly, an ex LR Experience car? Are they considered to be a good buy?
My heart is saying, don't worry about it if it is ex LRE, however my head is saying, why spend the thick end of 40K on a car that has been off road for 80% (ish) of its life? (maybe, the reason I'd go for one is that I can't afford a well spec'd new one!! )
Cheers,
Bri
