Without asking I got...

Full set of mats
Full tank of diesel
Leather cleaner
Wheel cleaner
Touch up paint stick

Also, the sales guy spent over an hour going through the car with me including a test drive before I signed for it.

Very Happy

Almost forgot, also got 2 LRE vouchers Very Happy Very Happy Very Happy Very Happy

What dealer was this? I'd consider using them when I next buy if they treat their customers like this.

my question to you owners out there are what did you get on handover

Everything I expected, on time, with a smile, a LR Fleece, enough diesel to get me into another country, 240BHP, and a huge Permagrin.

Oh! I almost forgot....... I got a £6000 rebate from the VAT man too 8)

Sweet FA, apart from half a tank of diesel... handover was laughable as I knew more about it than the sales guy did, thanks to a little research on here... Very Happy

Brought a Ford few years ago and I got flowers, champagne and small box of Roses chocolates... just knew wearing pink was a wrong thing to do. Nevermind, gave them to the girlfriend which had "fringe" benefits. Very Happy

Brought the wifes Suzuki this year, got full tank of unleaded, mats, DiamondBrite and the salesman delivered it to our door on his way to his Mums for Sunday Lunch.

Our dealer provided a LR cap (with dealer name), a key fob (with dealer name), a full tank of diesel, a thorough run down on the D3, and a useful picnic hamper that fits under row 2 seats.

And since then, commendable after sales service.

1 hour handover, 3/4 fuel and all the sales staff came out and clapped when I was driving off, felt a bit of an idiot, but pretty nice people to deal with

mach 1, was the salesman 'Rob'? He can't do enough to help in my experience. Even after the sale. We also got our D3 from Harwoods, Coulsden and got the items you describe.

Laura, no I dealt with Marc. Like you, what's really impressed me has been the aftersales service.

Would not hesitate to recommend them.

I got an hour long (at least) guiding through the car. The die cast model I begged for at signing the contract was delayed....
No extras but a good service. Guess I got discount as the extra.

carpet mats, full tank of diesel, the right vehicle sourced quickly, key fobs (dealer name), free servicing, free loan car for all service work, a good price (LR Corporate program) and great after sales service (all issues dealt with so far without argument, and clean car after service) Very Happy

I got a voucher for some portrait place ,a bunch of flowers for the wife and that was it .Would of prefered a landrover offroad voucher as i have never owned a Land Rover before...that would of been more usefull.

incedently..on the hand over sheet it has a tick box for Land Rover Experience Voucher ...which he quickly crossed saying this was last years sheet!!!

Never mind , i may get a voucher for my birthday in January from my wife ..iv hinted enough times

Wiggs, just start firing email and brochure requests at Land Rover website. I did and got a free off road session in a Land Rover of my choice to take before the end November.

Penalty for this is now I get lots of junk mail from Land Rover, but it beats credit card applications any day!
