Lowering Disco3

I have seen a workshop over here offering a 'software lowering' solution for the D3.

I have the Blackbox vehicle server, and i wonder if i am able to lower the car lets say 2 inch myself.

Wifey only use the car on paved roads, and a little harder and lower suspension would be nice. And probably also look nice.... Question

Any chance this is a DIY job.... Question

Do yoiu have the faultmate MSV2 or just a Fault Code Reader?
If you have the MSV2, then yes, you can change the ride height. Thumbs Up

The MSV2 will allow you to lower the D3 by about an inch. If you want to go lower, adjustable height sensor rods would be the way to go.

You might find the suspension will be softer not harder as there is less pressure in the air bags.

If you have a MSV2 give it a go. Save the original settings then adjust the calibration height for each corner by the same amount ( you have to increase the number to lower or decrease it to raise) save that page then you can jump between the heights in a couple of minutes whenever you want.

I have three sets of heights, normal, off-road & a slightly lowered height I use if going on long motorway journeys to improve economy a bit.

If you look on the BBS site there are a couple of threads on the topic. Thumbs Up

Funny. I prefer the monster truck look and would like to keep mine set higher!
