Went to local garage, Autoglass agent, today and under my instructions SWMBO told them that:
1. I wanted genuine LR OEM glass
2. I wanted all new clips on the A pillar trims
I dont think either request went down too well.
1. LR glass - reading from previous posts am I being overly cautious about accepting any old glass (was told it was from Pilkintons)
2. I assume the clips must be replaced as they break and cant be trusted to hold the trim on?

I used Autoglass earlier this year - their Pilkington Optikool OEM is the same as the Land Rover glass (except without "Land Rover" on it) and they replaced all the clips (it came with the windscreen kit).
RAC Windscreens on the other hand used "Solaglass" which was awful and cracked within 3 months ...
Personally - I'd trust the default with Autoglass - but your mileage may vary!
