Steinbauer - electronic pedal sensor wire |
|
Hi, I bought a box from Steinbauer. But I ended up on the white wire connected. The manual is only this: Solder the reference signal wire on the wire of the electronic
pedal sensor.
Please KEDO has a photo or guide wire to connect to what?
Thank you and best regards
Peter

Thanks Matt Day Managing Director

You can connect the injector connectors and situate the box in the black box compartment on the left side of engine. There is a large grommet there going into the cabin just where the throttle pedal is.
You need to connect the reference wire directly to the throttle potentiometer. This has 6 wires on the UK cars the wire is RED/BLACK you need to connect to but please test this with multimeter as it may be different on your car. Do not disconnect the connector at the throttle. Use the multimeter probe to test each wire (with ignition on, not engine running) and you need to find the voltage of 0.7-0.9 volts. When you press the pedal this voltage will increase to approx 3.5-4.0volts.
