intermitant suspension fault

Hi im new to this iv had a d3 2005 hse for 2 years had new compressor a year ago and all has been ok
(i know iv been lucky , but looks like luck has run out)
intermitant suspension fault normal height only
just had the wiring loom repaired by local garage at the cost of £60 (LR wanted £300) but now a week later got fault back, repaired loom wires checked and are fine. it only comes up with fault when i try to put lever up into off road height, or the car tries to raise a bit after pulling away, but it can stay without a fault sometimes for a whole trip, say 10 miles, any ideas would be most welcome, as i really want to keep loving my d3 but if i cant then i think i will start to fall out of love !!
Thanks

Hi dd,
I think that you'll get much better cooperation from the forum members if you don't behave as an Censored .

Think on it,

Presume that the air intake is where the compressor is.... passenger side rear wheel, just in front of it, look underneath the car and you'll find a plastic cover over it

Not that I've taken mine apart mind... yet...

just had new compressor fitted but now the front is going up slow but the back seems fine , as been told there could be a air filter that could be the cause. it goes up leavel at the front but takes its time and dash says suspension raising slowly .

Others may have had different experiences than me but when ive seen so far on the cars ive fixed, warning "suspension raising slowly" is from my cars experience been a leaking pipe very slightly or a dodgy/inferior compressor.

Did you fit a new genuine compressor ?

Hi dd,
I apologise for my earlier post. I, incorrectly, thought that everyone knew about SHOUTING on forums. Embarassed

I'm glad that fatboy was more perceptive than I.

Best Wishes,
Peter

DD this is written a lot from what I read so I guess a bucket of soapy water on the air pipes / connectors to see if it gives an indication of where !!
Experience is a difficult teacher, because she gives the test first and then the lesson afterwards!!!!
