Using the search option on here

Plainly I'm doing something thick Embarassed because every time I try and use the "search" option it returns about 9000 matches......any tips for getting the number down to a manageable amount for a complete idiot ? "Better to remain silent and be thought a fool,than to speak out and remove all doubt" ?.....what rubbish...

Locking rear E-diff
RLD spare wheel protector & sump guard
Extended roof rails
Series 111 mudflaps
Black side tubes,grill and vents
Timed climate remote
Hids4u interior lights

D4 Firenze my2012 HSE
D3 Java 2005 SE manual (sold,sadly,thanks for the memories)
1966 '88 Series 2a....still starts in the morning better than I do...

If you click the "Show keyword help" link next to the search box, you'll see where you're going wrong. Whistle

You need to put a "+" in front of every word that you want to include in the search. It's not a very intuitive way of searching for words, but it's the way it works and once you remember to do it this way every time, it works pretty well.

For example:

+egr +valve +failure
 2006 Discovery 3 TDV6 SE Auto Buckingham Blue
2007 Golf GT DSG

Ok,thats much better .....like you said bit clumsy but it works........didnt realise when it said + you actually had to physically type it.... Embarassed ....Monday morning blues
