| Wing mirror colour coding - respray or covers? |

I made the leap and took delivery of a D3 2006 HSE last week. All seems fine but one thing I’d like to do is colour-code the wing mirrors. I’ve searched the site and found a few references to covers and have seen covers on ebay (some even from a Stratstone main dealership so I guess they're a LR genuine aftermarket add-on). My question is are covers the way to go or is a respray better? Do covers look like an afterthought once fitted?
Appreciate hearing views on the best way forward.
