if its any consolation (and to remove any confusion), my MY16 SDV6 255bhp, 8 speed SE tech has on the back:
Discovery on the left hand side of the tailgate
SE on the right hand side
so no 4 or T/S DV6 at all.
Al Volvo XC90 B5 Plus Dark
Gone - MY18 D5 HSE - Corris on 22's with Black Pack
Now gone - MY16 D4 SE Tech, Loire Blue, Almond Leather, Privacy, plus some other goodies.
Old - MY12 D4 SDV6 XS Auto - Ipanema Sand with Almond Leather - Plus other niceties, and D4.com sticker
Older - D3 TDV6 XS Auto - Lugano Teal with Almond Leather, 20" Stormers, Shiny Tailpipes, DVD/TV - and obligatory D3 sticker
Ancient - D3 TDV6 S - Tonga with Ebony, 20" Stormers, satnav & DVD

Do you think they played it safe and gave up on the T's and S's 
Al - off topic a little...and I know the answer, but how's it tow compared to the D3....
Had my TDV8 rangey 3 years now and thinking of a change after the summer  D4 HSE....Probably, but not quite decided yet.

Engine designator is now on the front driver and passenger doors, mine says its an SDV6 and it's a 2016MY.

Sorry, yes, forgot it says SDV6 on the side of mine now, where the side repeater indicators used to be.
@ Nick - D4 is even better towcar than D3 was, and that was pretty unbeatable. D4 has 600Nm of torque, so much closer to your TDV8 RR than the D3 would have been. Its hard to remember theres a 'van on the back at times.
