Another vote for Atera. Just did 2200 miles with four bikes on the back. Does move slightly when going over bumps which took a bit of time to accept it wasn't going to fall off Very easy to use as well

Are you saying that I should have bought a diff 13pin->7pin adapter instead of the one supplied form RoofBox? "...I'm so broke I can't even pay attention..."
It is worth pointing out that the Altera come with 13 pin electrics but roofbox.co.uk supply a 13 to single 7 pin adapter. The only issue with this that the the reverse lights don't work but legally this is not an issue as the regs don't require them. However, I bought a 13 pin to dual 7N/7S from these people:-

Yes. And No. As I said the roofbox supplied adapter only covers the legally required lighting and not reverse lights. The piece of kit I purchased allows all lighting to work fully by plugging in to both 7N and 7S sockets.
