No noise problems but the plastic end also fell off on mine (it was fitted by the dealer). Replaced under warranty without question.
So just be sure it is all firmly fitted! Paul

The plastic end (nearside front) has disappeared off my Landmark, so this looks like a common problem? Haven't noticed any extra noise though, even with it missing. Dealer replacing FOC.
