In desperation over the same problem with my DII, I swapped tyres side to side - hey presto, the car tracked true, and the steering wheel was still straight. That was at about 10-15000 miles.

I mention the steering wheel 'cos when it was new the wheel was out of alignment clockwise by about 6 or 8 degrees. I adjusted the steering tie bar myself, and it didn't need adjusted again in 54000 miles - even with new tyres. I stuck with the OE fitment Good Year Eagle GT +4's (I think that's the right title Confused )

ANYWAY, my D3 - new this month - goes in tomorrow for the monkeys to "look at" the out of alignment steering wheel, and slight left pull. I reckon this'll be interesting Wink
If you wait for it to go wrong - it's bound to oblige

The steering wheel on mine was out when new as well, leading to uneven tyre wear. When I took it in they gave it the new allignment for the bush settle and all fine ever since. Very Happy
