because if I want the product replaced my contract is with the dealer and it is up to THEM to resolve the issues not me (by going to another dealer). Its a legal thing I have been specifically advised on. I do not personally understand all the legalities involved thats the job of those who get paid lots of money to do so.... Im just listening, following a process and doing as advised. 2004 TDV6 HSE Auto Zambezi Silver

your warranty contract is with LR not your dealer, they just carry out the work on the ok from LR. still dont see a problem warranty wise. misrepresentation is another story

its about a product bought from a retail outlet that is faulty and after repeated attempts is judged cant be repaired. I pursue dealer... dealer I assume would do same to LR... I cant pursue LR. I have to follow the contract which is with dealer not LR. 2004 TDV6 HSE Auto Zambezi Silver

new from dealer. only ever been serviced and repaired by dealer and all addons bought through and fitted by dealer.

The sale of goods act is the legislation you'll be talking about, unless you bought it on HP. But the dealer is entitled to deduct for mileage, I know it sucks but it is a fact. You buy a washing machine and it doesn't work right they replace with a new one, do the same with a car and it costs you £10K! That is why most aren't rejected, but traded in! Which is why, when you want to reject a car, you stop using it and tell the dealer who you are pursuing that you have stopped using it.......as I have previously stated, ongoing use (in the eyes of said Act) constitutes "acceptance".

DD ...how far have you managed to progress your legal action? Are you any further forward now than our previous conversation ? 21 year LR veteran > D2 GS 2003 > D3 S 2006 > D3 HSE 2009 > D4 HSE 2013 > D4 HSE 2015 > D5 HSE 2018 > DS HSE R-Dynamic P300e 2021
