FFRR TDV8
This weeks Autocar has a review of the FFRR TDV8. Combined fuel consumption remains the same as the TDV6. L/R estimate that 75% of all new FFRR's in the U.K will be TDV8's.
Autocar say "The RR TDV8 is the best RR yet."
Lets hope that L/R will slot it into the D3. Although I have a horrible feeling that it will be in the RRS & RR only, as the D3 HSE is stealing FFRR sales. As such L/R will want to keep it to lure buyers into these more expensive vehicles.
Hope I'm wrong.
I agree. HSE D3's have tempted many RR owners. LR need something to widen the gap and the TDV8 engine may be just the thing.
On the plus side, it will keep the used values of our D3 TDV6 high if they don't put the V8 into the D3.Matt

But the BBC said that the majority of 4x4's are petrol engines... I am confused. Who to believe ? The BBC or a company out to sell vehicles ?
Can't see the TDV8 in a D3 for a long while... 3.0L TDV6 maybe.

Yes but that won't increase the out put as it is the Euro 4 engine I'm going to have to go and have a drive of this new RR, but perhaps with a view of buying one nearly new in a year or two.DS3 TDV6 HSE - Silver with Alpaca (old one) Gone
DS3 TDV6 HSE- Silver with Alpaca (new one) Gone
D4 HSE Lux - Montalcino Red Gone
