Centre diff lock - Base model Disco 3 |
|
Hello,
Can anyone tell me if the centre diff can be locked on the base model (5 seat, non-terrain response, coil sprung) Disco? The wiki on here says it is lockable but I went to look at one today and could find no control for it. Is it, perhaps, torque-sensing?
The car I looked at was an '06 (55) with 63000 miles, on at £15,500 including mechanical breakdown warranty (independent dealer). Full service history (non Landrover after 2nd service). Gearbox replaced last year. Car drove extremely well and was in what I would call honest condition for its age. Some stone cips, touched up, slight scuffing on one wheel arch, clean underneath, Cooper ATRs with reasonable life left, very clean inside. Does this seem like a fair price for a base Disco as described?
Any advice gratefully received.
Thanks

rear was on option on all but G4 in the uk but not sure else where. There is a thread on here from last year which shows what is visually under the car if it is fitted
