D4 Ordered Today
Well went into the dealership today and ordered a new D4 HSE, I've gone for some extras:-
Colour Baltic Blue - Metallic
Active rear locking differential
Steering wheel - heated
Xenon Adaptive Headlamps including LED signature lights
Surround Camera System
Ipod cable
Hybrid TV
Full size spare wheel
Been given a delivery date of mid may but told that could change.
Going to get Pete from Bell Autos to install remote heater when I get it and get some after market tints done as I would like them to be darker than the ones Land Rover offer. The salesman did say they could have the tints done there before I get it and it was quite a reasonable price.
Only 91 days to go!

Hmm nice...I'm going to do the same with the tints...can even go to limosine blackness. Probably go one up from that.

Don't want to go too dark but then again don't really want people being able to see what's in the back

By all accounts it is cheaper and an easy install if I decide I need it

Order form says May 20th but salesman said it may come before that, salesman did say he would be in touch with a more definite date (hope to God it isn't June )

How can they justify £ 1020.00 when you can get the kit from Pete and fitted for less than half that,

I have the surround camera system...And to be honest its more of a gimick...If you don't have a towbar I can't see the point. I have tried to use the system but it takes too long to select the camera, area you want, etc etc, Change the option to side steps and rubbing strips with bright inserts...that will save any car park damage!!! and enhance the look of your shiny new car.

I was watching a Disco 4 review on youtube.com and the guy used the cameras to watch the fish go by as he waded through a river. Admittedly the video wasn't shot in this country, if it where I'd expect to see shopping trollies, old bicycles and Hugh Fearnley-Whittingstall float by before I saw any fish.
