When we bought ours I wanted an 'in stock' vehicle.
After the correct spec, my colour choices were, in this order...
1, Nara Bronze
2, Ipanema Sand
3, Stornoway Grey
Love my Ipanema Sand and it often gets comments as the colour seems to change with the light.
Would have been just as happy with Nara Bronze though!

I haven't washed it for ages and it is filthy, but strangely it doesn't look as filthy as it actually is!
Does that make sense?

Good shout But I'm biased!
There's no bad colours imho, all look great on the road.
My (not so) short list was Silver (again), Stornoway, Nara and Ipanema so I know what you've been going through.
I think I actually ordered Baltic Blue and changed ny mind when I saw a Baltic Feelander, personally I prefer the lighter shades on the D4.
A bit boring if we all liked the same.

Good choice. We got Ipanema Sand and a mate just down the road got (at our suggestion) Nara Bronze. I have no hesitation is saying that IMHO Ipanema Sand looks the better colour. It always looks right. In Nara Bronze - it sometimes looks right.

I like the Ipanema Sand colour a lot, the Nara Bronze looked great in all the D4 promo stuff that was released but having seen it in the metal I think it looks, well, erm brown. No offence meant, just don't think it works and also think re-sale will be tricky too in years to come when it goes out of favour.
Having said that if I could afford a D4 my opinion would actually be valid 2020 BMW X1 18d XDrive X-Line Auto
