Measurements help needed from someone with a discreet winch

I am considering designing (and having built) a removable winch receiver (trying to progress an idea I had a while ago...).

I need some measurements to help the design - so could someone with a discreet/hidden winch mount possibly poke a tape measure in the front of theirs.
I am after:
- distance from the back plate (ie back of winch tray) to level with front bumper (ie flush with exit hole for winch in the bumper)
- distance from front plate (ie front of tray) to same spot level with front bumper

No rush - only when you are passing with a tape measure!

Thanks in advance.

Ray - thanks.
Ref inserting pin, I am thinking of a slot slightly smaller than the size of a standard number plate/holder,
That way should have width and finger room to insert pin and r clip to secure.
Number plate can be held on by turn clip fasterners or similar.
We spoke about this a while ago - do you have any free time to knock one up?!!

Will have a look at a D3 and see what there is it will have to pass though the steel bumper that is already in there it you would only have 2 /3/4" to play with but yes i cant see not being done Thumbs Up

As reminder from before -
This is one on my Discovery 1 - https://s3-eu-west-2.amazonaws.com/i.hubnu...59751b.jpg
And think it needs to be like this - http://img.photobucket.com/albums/v353/Jon...iver-1.jpg
When you comapre it to a hidden winch mount it "should" be fairly simple - http://img.photobucket.com/albums/v353/Jon...-RLD-1.jpg
Exit point should be the same as the hidden winch fairlead position- the bottom of which is level with the base of the tray I think.
Let me know by PM when you have had a think (and a cost)!!
