I was in whyalla on tuesday and saw a white D3 HSE in a high school car park, could it be yours i thought, surely can't be many white D3's in whyalla.
Man you are going to have fun keeping the lovely white duco clean in that enviroment.
It does look great.

yep, indeed it was mine. wifes a teacher (or so she claims). you would have passed One Steel, that's where I work, hence why the wife takes it to work . as far as I know (and oddly enough I have been driving around a fair bit lately ) it is and I haven't seen another of any colour so that makes me top of the dung heap so to speak 8)
keeping things clean is not as bad as you might think and it's usally got a layer of dust for protection. were you just passing through, you could've gone for a spin over Mt Laura.

I visit on a quarterly basis, my company builds and services lifts (elevators), we have service contracts all over the state, so i take the disco and do the service runs in the country. So in this case, it was a day trip to whyalla and pt augusta to service 3 lifts in whyalla and 3 lifts + 3 auto-doors in pt augusta. Then yesterday, it was kadina, pt pirie & clare for more servicing, next week its naracoorte and penola on the way to the Grampians for a well earnt 6 day break.
It gets me out of the office & you can't ask employees to that sort of kilometres in a day.
I look at mt laura everytime i visit, i have taken my old RAV4 and Forester around the area in the old days, maybe will make time in the future, i hope to make the service trip in a 3 day / 2 night trip.
I was actually born (1971) in whyalla, but only stayed a few years, so no real memories.
