My dealer just offered me a two-year lease on a SE with nav and lights for USD $750 not incl. tax.
Seems like a sweet deal as they are incentivizing the SEs now in the States.
my problem is I can't seem reference to a land rover 2 year lease opportunity anywhere and want to make sure he's not pulling a fast one.
Anyone lease on the board?
best numbers?deciding on LR3....

This might be best posed on the LR3 Specific board, as UK finance deals won't apply to the US, and vice versa.
I can move it if you wish..

thanks you sure can... but very few folks seem to post there!
I think I have board envy because the lrchronicle board based in US, just doesn't seem to have similar enthusiasm or insight into this great vehicle!deciding on LR3....

what is the residual and is it walk away? could be doing it to you there. something doesn't make sense though as that should barely cover interest costs. Depreciation should be 30 to 35% on 24 months?2006 HSE loaded

I wish the vice versa did apply: $750??? That's £400 a month for two years... DEAL! Good old rip-off Britain, eh?

It baffles me how anyone can ship 3 tons of metal 5,000 miles and then charge less for it. Presumably, if you buy a D3 in Solihull, it's the most expensive deal on the planet?

US LR3 lease rate
Recently got a fully loaded HSE, 24 months, 12k/yr, for $630/mo + tax, with no down pay.
Based on research, I knew the dealer should be able to get to $700/mo, w/nothing down, through LR Capital Group. But they really resisted when I proposed this, initially stating that they couldn't come anywhere close. I had to push them, but they quickly beat that deal. Was also able to knock the sale price down after that with some LRNA incentives, so that lowered the payment even more.
The info I got at this edmunds.com lease rate info sharing site was extremely helpful. Particularly the moderator's comments, which spelled out what LR Capital's bottom line would likely be:
Just about to hit 1k miles with mine. Fun ride.2006 LR3 HSE

normal 1:1 conversion rate for UK to US pricing I see.
nicheautomotive.com near Bradford will do you an SE (@ 10,000 miles per annum) at £628 for 24 months or £585 for 36 months. I nearly nearly went this route on mine (no sales pitch, just thought people might be interested)Steve N | 21MY Defender | 08MY Discovery 3 (history) | 06MY Discovery 3 (ancient history)

Recently enquired about purchasing a US specification 2007 model year LR3 V8 HSE with Luxury Pack delivered here in UK and received following quote :
The $995 UK delivery charge included UK registration, 12 months road tax, light conversion, and SVA certificate. All I had to do is pay the VAT at 17.5% which was equivalent to an additional £ 4,753 .... giving a total price of £31,917. The same specification right hand drive car bought from a LR dealers in UK would be priced in excess of £51,000 ... an additional £19,000.
WHAT A JOKE LAND ROVER.

Presumably to get that you would have to be ordinarily non-UK resident?
