Sunroof stopped working

Sunroof has suddenly stopped working. I have checked the fuse and it appears to be OK. I know I don't need the sunroof in this weather, but I want to have it working for spring. I know it was working last week, because it was crackling with the heavy frost, so I just opened it and shut it again to stop the noise, which it did, but tonight when I tried to open it for some fresh air - nothing! Sad I tried turning the ignition off and on again, but to no avail.

Anyone had this before?

Press and hold the close button (forward) for ~20 seconds. The sunroof should open then close. Keep holding the button until the sunroof has been through the full cycle and stops moving, then release. Sunroof will probably now work fine. Mine did the same a couple of months ago.

I did try this after reading about it in the handbook and it did not work. I am just wondering if I was holding the button backwards (as to open it) by mistake. I will try the other way round in the morning.
Thanks

OK, so I don't know the difference between forwards and backwards - duh! Banging Head Either that or I can't count up to 20 (well it does seem like a looong time!)

Thanks guys, once I figured out the difference between forwards and backwards (perhaps that's why the garage doors are the shape they are), it clicked back into life and is working fine now Thumbs Up
