Ultimate D3 ?
Alnwick Northumberland this afternoon, perhaps the ultimate D3, as I was admiring the vehicle the owner returned and gave me the guided tour, complete underbody protection, winch and bumper, rear indicators in rear bumper, a magic electronic box that gives him an extra 2 inch lift, rock sliders, jacking points, built in water purification unit, shower, twin bats, storage built in compressor roof tent and much much more more built by Frog Island.
PS The owner is on the forum

Can't be...all that effort and money on those preparations and accessories yet he doesn't have a disco3.co.uk sticker on show... The next American ex-pat that calls it a "truck" is going to find out what 2.7 tons feels like on their foot...

Those tyres/rims give it a nice Tonka toy look, quite like that, are they 17" ?

must be crackers, all that ugly metalwork would look so much better on a defender rather than wrecking a luverly disco.

nice one.
if owner is around, what size are the rims and what kind of electronic kit you have to raise suspension(Matzker?)
If that is the same one as I saw once at the Island of Frogs then it used to belong to an overland adventure company.
The high lift jack mounting bracket that is fitted to the spare wheel carrier has proved very difficult to track down as my vehicel is similar in spec to this one.
The suspension mods are Madska I believe ( excuse the spelling)

Wheels are performance alloys BB6 I think, like Verydisco has.
Are the tyres Cooper STT's or GoodYear MT/R's?
It looks fab. Matt black paint would be cool but not very practical
