The spare wheel protector looks pretty impressive.
So what's with the hi lift jack? I didn't think you could use one on a D3, although I note you mention jack points, so do you know what he has done to enable the use of a hi lift?
Look pretty good to me.D3 HSE MY05 Auto

Stu,
High lift jacking points are available for the back of the D3, I have them on mine car. On the front you can use the ARB winch bumper if you have one as I do. Quite effective. I could demo if you like when we next meet?

Nick,
Sounds very interesting, I'd definately like to see that. Although I doubt I'll get an ARB bumper so not much use if you can only jack up the rear. I guess I could just make sure I only ever get a puncture on a rear wheel though
I wonder if we could get some form of front jacking points made?D3 HSE MY05 Auto

It also looks like the heavy duty rear bumper is fitted, therefore no need for high lift jack points, just use the bumper. On the near side of the rear bumper is an unused spiggot for a 2nd wheeler carrier. I believe this is used for a jerry can holder & other equipment. If it were for a second wheel carrier there would be tail lights on the bumper as the two wheel set up on the back obscures the standard rear light cluster.
The aux tank mounted where the spare wheel normally sits is also very similar to my set up. Tank guard also.
Cheers for now.

Stu, perhaps uncle Ray might be able to help on that one.I am a hob nobber.

"tail lights on the bumper"
I noticed that when he drove away and indicated, the indicator was in the bumper.
I did not realise so much could be done at a price of course,

Les is this the same vehicle from your original spot?
Les is this the vehicle you spotted on this thread. Had a discussion with Chris d3 he mentioned it is up for sale at Nene for £24.995 after getting a good soaking in a river and apparently falling off the back of a lorry
