I have registered myself as interested. I'm wondering how shipping would occur? Or do you need to live in the UK to be able to participate in the group deal? Bonati Grey D3 TDV6 HSE

Hi Kbals.
You (and everyone else) will have the same choice in respect of shipping:
1. Despatch on my company DHL account at actual cost.
2. Your own courier can collect from our offices.
3. Collection in person.
Doesn't matter where you live in the global village

Thanks for the information...
I might be interested in a winch version, but is this is for non-winch version, then I guess that the moderators will have to remove me from the list ! Georgia On My Mind...

I think that Mantec will only sell the non winch version as LR sell this themselves.
We won't know until JMC is able to contact them from next week.

May be they think he's pulling their leg. "I would like a price on 27 guards please!" Loving the power of the TDV8!

Maybe find out his e-mail address and send him a link to this thread ...then he might sit up 21 year LR veteran > D2 GS 2003 > D3 S 2006 > D3 HSE 2009 > D4 HSE 2013 > D4 HSE 2015 > D5 HSE 2018 > DS HSE R-Dynamic P300e 2021

OK guys - here it is.........
Mantec front underbody (steering) protection plate.
Special Price for Disco3 members only..........
£180 inc VAT (Sorry DSL )
DHL UK delivery will be £10.
Personal collection or your own courier collection will be fine during business hours.
Payment is preferred in the form of a bank transfer (internet banking), though a cheque will suffice (if you must).
Credit cards (PayPal only) can be done, but you will need to pay the extra charges.
Any profits from this venture will be paid to Martin in the form of a donation for the upkeep of the disco3.co.uk site.
The only stipulations on this deal are:
1. We need 20+ takers.
2. We need to set an offer closing date (proposed Sunday 17 September)
3. It will take up to 2 weeks to get the units made and despatched to me.
4. It may take me a few days to package and despatch so you will need some patience (I do have a day-job)
Might I suggest that once you confirm your intention to pay, then you send me a PM requesting the 'full' details, as bank info etc will not be posted in open forum.
If all goes to plan, I should receive the plates by the end of September and you should have yours by the end of the 1st week in October.

Sorry VA, I forgot to ask about this. Besides, you have a D3 now so what the heck
Might I suggest that any RRS owner can call Mantec on (02476) 395368 to enquire for themselves. I certainly don't want to endorse any potential RRS fitting withouyt seeing it for myself.
PS. Glad to have you 'officialy' in the fold...... 8)

We've talked and decided with SWMBO, my minister of Finance, that we'd rather spring for some form of protection that would let us put a winch in place at a later date...
Thus, I am out but still thanks for that effort ! Georgia On My Mind...
