Tell you what JKP..... I'll give you a Coll and shake your Tiree a bit. I'll tell you that Iona D3, and you can tell me to go and Staffa root vegetable somewhere. Perhaps you can get your wheel-Barra and we could Mingulay with the builders for a while. Best to keep a watch on clouds in the Skye though, as the forecast is for rain......

Before this entire thread goes ..........
Monday 9th October:
25 Plates Sold
25 Plates Paid For
17 Plates Delivered
08 Plates still to be despatched.
I hope that the 8 remaining plates will be on their way to their respective new owners towards the end of this week. I await confirmation from Mantec that the consignment is boxed and ready to go. A couple of the internationals will need to be sending some additional funds for carriage, but I will NOT be holding back despatch of the plates for these people.

E-mail from Mantec today:
_______________________
Good Morning John,
We have now received the material for the guards. I will keep you informed step by step. Sorry for the delay.
Kind Regards,
Mantec Services (UK) Limited.

My understanding of this is that they now have the plates which have been laser cut from the aluminium supplier. They now need to bend and weld them to form the end result. I'm still hoping to get them despatched this week....

Howdy,
It looks like my trip abroad has been postponed for a few days, so I would like to arrange for a meet with the Morocco crew fellows who are kindly bringing down my plate.
When do you estimate you will be passing though Madrid? Is Madrid a stopover or do you plan to drive all the way down to the south and take a rest there?
Let me know.
Thanks again! JL Martin
