Green lanes in Yorkshire ?? |
|
Does anyone know of any green lanes / off road sites around Leeds , Harrogate , York or Wetherby .. Not done any off roading yet so just want to have a little play with the settings ect to start with..
We do play on quads in a field but they don't weigh almost 3 ton. î®î€›î…šî…™î²

Not aware of any around here, I think the nearest would be Tong at Bradford, let me know if you do find any nearer.

Have a look at the Yorkshire sales and moors websites as they have details of which green lanes can legally be used ! Suspect it will be limited though

VESTED INTEREST, VESTED INTEREST
Just joking, CFB is right, Tong is a cracking site - hopefully there will be another disco3.co.uk day there soon where you can meet others and have a level of a safety net of folks kicking around who know what they are doing who will help if need be. Much safer than rattling along a unsurfaced right of way alone.

Some nice greenlanes North Yorkshire dales and the south of Co Durham, Ripon, Reeth and Hawes ... Just a little over 30 mins (ish) from Leeds. I could always be persuaded to have another trip out in the new year!

Matty do you use / have access to Memory Map, if so drop me a line via email button. I have a couple of routes that are nice and easy esp for just one vehicle. But 2 vehicles would be advised and 3 is in my opinion a minimum.

As long as there is no snow to get stuck in, no real tricky sections more of a cobble road, good hard surface with a gate or two. Club N.E.R.D.s
